Mark Wayne Harsh, 67, of Scipio, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his residence.
Born November 16, 1953, in Columbus, he was the son of Charles and Geraldine (Dowling) Harsh. He married Pamela Everroad on June 4, 2011, in Nitrate City, Alabama; she survives.
Mark was a 1972 graduate of Jennings County High School and served in the US Army. He worked as a machine operator for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus for 30 years, retiring in 2005. Mark was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ in Ford City, Alabama and the Legions. He enjoyed playing computer games and watching television.
Surviving with his wife, Pam; are a son, Matthew (Melissa) Harsh of North Vernon; brother, Dwight (Mary) Harsh of Ogilville; sister, Ruth (Bill) Scott of Hackleburg, Alabama; and grandchildren, Dalton Harsh, Madisyn Harsh, Alexis Harsh, and Stone Harsh, all of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Marvin Harsh.
In keeping with his and his family’s wishes, cremation is planned, and no services are to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
