Marlyn Lloyd Beach

Marlyn Lloyd Beach, 88, of Butlerville, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born September 22, 1937, in Jennings County, he was the son of Harry Beach and Della (Mercer) Beach. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Wendy (Vaught) Beach.

Marlyn served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He retired from Indiana and Florida Railroad as an office dispatcher after more than 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, feeding hummingbirds, and doing yard work.

Survivors include his daughters, Lisa (Doug) Caseltine, and Teresa (Dennis) Gholson, both of Columbus; and grandchildren, Ashley (Braden) Grider, Amber (Zach) Nichols, and Brooke O’mara.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, brother Allen Beach, Sisters Joanna McCnulty, and Sheryl Shepherd.

A graveside service for Marlyn Beach will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Otter Creek Cemetery in Nebraska, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Marlyn through the funeral home for Otter Creek Cemetery.
