Marsha Elaine Merritt-Hall, 54, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:08 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born March 16, 1967, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Ellen (Davis) Baker and the late Kenneth Baker.
Marsha was a 1985 graduate of Columbus East High School and received her associate degree from Indiana Business College. She enjoyed listening to music, playing softball, swimming, going to the beach, and dolphins. Marsha especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Clearwater, Florida with her best friend, Valerie Alvis.
Survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Matt Waggoner) Villarreal and Brandi (Christina Wilfong) Parker, both of North Vernon; mother, Ellen Baker of Crestwood, Kentucky; brother, John Baker of Crestwood, Kentucky; sister, Cindy McLauthlin, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Olivia Villarreal, Sophia Villarreal, and Serena Parker, all of North Vernon; and her ex-husband, William Parker of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A funeral service for Marsha will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
Memorials may be made in honor of Marsha through the funeral home to help with expenses.
