Martha A (Davidson) Vanosdol

Martha A. Vanosdol, 87, of Butlerville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

There will be no services held at this time. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon was entrusted with the arrangements.

Born June 28, 1934, in Nebraska, IN. She was the daughter of Frank Davidson and Ethel Francis Wildey. She married Robert W. Vanosdol Sr. on June 28, 1953, in Vernon.

Martha was a 1954 graduate of Butlerville. She worked at the Senior Center, delivering Meals on Wheels for several years. Martha enjoyed spending time with her family members, working on word search puzzles, working in her flower garden, as well she was an avid collector. She was known for the strawberries she grew.

Survivors include her sons, Wilber John “Willy” (Carolyn), Roger Allen (Lora) both of Butlerville, Robert Wayne “Jr” (Patty) of North Vernon Tommy Joe (Robin) of Butlerville; grandchildren, Melissa Vanosdol Browning, Rachel Wilhite, Cody, Sheldon, Tiffany Vanosdol, Whittney Jenkins, and Devin Vanosdol; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and late husband Robert.
