Martin Edgar “Marty” Hull, 51, of North Vernon passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at his residence.
Born December 13, 1968 in Columbus, he was the son of David Hull and the late Georganna Skelton.
Marty was 1987 graduate of Clarksville High School in Clarksville and served in the U.S. Army. He worked maintenance for Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville for five years and had previously worked maintenance and groundskeeper for Amelia Island Golf Course in Florida for 15 years. He was a member and played Bass for Southern Compromise Band. Marty enjoyed motorcycle riding, playing the bass and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Corey Hull of Jeffersonville; Terrah (Steven) Bruner of Clarksville and Destinee (Johnathan) Lewis of Austin; companion, Beth League of North Vernon; father, David Hull of Peru; brothers, Matt Hull and Scott Hull, both of North Vernon; sister, Marla (Mike) Skinner of Peru; grandchildren, Charlotte Hull of Jeffersonville, Ellie Jean Jenkins, Anakin Joseph Lewis, Elias Kenneth Lewis and Dixie Rae-lynn Lewis, all of Austin, and Gavin Jeffries of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Delmer and Glodis Hull and George and Hilda Skelton.
A celebration of life for Marty will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Phat Guys Bar and Grill in North Vernon. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Marty through the funeral home for expenses.
