Mary Teresa Clingerman

Mary Teresa Clingerman, 74, of Columbus, passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born May 8, 1951, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of the late Cleo B. and Ruth V. (Beach) Clingerman.

Mary was of Catholic Faith and was a former participant of Special Olympics.

Survivors include her brother, Tom B. Clingerman and his wife Karen, of Ely, Minnesota; her sister, Christina Hemphill and her husband, Mark of Midway, Utah; her aunt, Jeanie Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cleo Clingerman, in February of 1994 and her mother, Ruth Clingerman, in November of 1992.

A memorial service for Mary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on  Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus. Entombment was in the Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.
