Michael Theodore "Big Mike" Robbins

Michael Theodore “Big Mike” Robbins, 55, of Butlerville, passed away at Majestic Care of Connersville on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1:45 a.m.

Born March 9, 1967, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Ronald and Norma (Thompson) Robbins. He married Sandra (Marksberry) Robbins on February 4, 2003, in Vernon; she survives.

Michael graduated from Jennings County High School in 1985 and worked for Ron’s Stump Removal in North Vernon. He enjoyed walking in the woods, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving with his wife is his son, Ryan Marksberry of North Vernon; brothers, Randall (Linda) Robbins of North Vernon and Ronald Eugene (Betty) Robbins of Columbus; sisters, Tonjua Pearson and Cathy (Ralph) Foster, both of North Vernon; grandson, Zachary Marksberry of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ricky Robbins.

A funeral service for Michael will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Scipio Cemetery in Scipio.
