Michaela Alana "Mikki" (Norris) Rigdon

Michaela Alana “Mikki” Rigdon, 41, of North Vernon, passed away at 6:38 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Born April 30, 1984, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Mark Norris and Anne (Mills) Norris. She married Bradley Rigdon on September 9, 2011, in North Vernon; he survives.

Mikki was a 2002 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a team leader for NTN Driveshaft West Plant in Columbus for five years. She had previously worked customer service for Patriot Packaging for two years and was a North Vernon Elementary Lunch Lady. Mikki enjoyed family time, her nephews and nieces, traveling to amusement parks and cats. She hated spiders.

Surviving with her husband Bradley; are her daughters, Angelina Garcia of Columbus, Sierra Rigdon and Myla Rigdon, both of North Vernon; father, Mark Norris of St. Paul; her mother, Anne Norris of North Vernon; brother, Anthony Cash of North Vernon; and sister, Arianne Seniours (Alex Gabbard) of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Marcus Norris.

A funeral service for Mikki will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6. 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. The visitation with family and friends will follow after the funeral service until 8:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mikki through the funeral home for a College Fund to be established for her daughters.
