Michelle Jeanette Finley, 61, of Commiskey, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Born July 9, 1962, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Roger Williams and the late Betty Jean (Case) Williams. She married Dean Finley on May 7, 1988, in Commiskey, he survives.
Michelle was a 1981 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a DST for the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville for 16 years and Stone Belt for four years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, being outdoors, fishing, camping and mushroom hunting.
Surviving along with her husband, Dean, and her daughter, April Finley (Quincy Browning) of Commiskey; are her father, Roger Williams of Deputy; brothers, Gary (Pam) Williams of North Vernon and Michael Williams of Butlerville; sister, Angie (Rob) Wilson of North Vernon; grandchildren, Lincoln Mesic and Shaylee Mesic, both of Columbus, Chase Mouser of Commiskey, and Dragon Mouser of Scipio.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her son, Max Mouser.
A funeral service for Michelle will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating, The visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time for the service. The burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Commiskey.
Memorials may be made in honor of Michelle through the funeral home for expenses.
