Misty Dawn Romero

Misty Dawn Romero, 44, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at her residence.

Born March 17, 1979, in Scottsburg, she was the daughter of Rosendo Romero Sr. and Pamela Chandler Romero.

Misty enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, tanning, and riding motorcycles. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, James Pedigo of North Vernon; daughters, Brooklynn Pedigo of North Vernon and Bailey Halpin of Aurora; father, Rosenda (Glenda) Romero, Sr. of North Vernon; mother, Pamela Romero of Manchester, Kentucky; brothers, Rosendo Romero Jr., Matthew Romero, and Benjamin Romero, all of North Vernon; sister, Jennifer Romero of North Vernon; and grandchild, Jayce Parsons of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Brittany and Molisha Smith.

 A funeral service for Misty will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Ricardo Romero officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made in honor of Misty through the funeral home for expenses.
