Myrna Loy Percifield, 85, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:39 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Born March 3, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Solomon Eugene and Mary Elizabeth (Snow) Bardell. She married Clifford Lee Percifield in 2000 in North Vernon; he preceded her in death on December 15, 2014.
Myrna worked in the Family Boutique in Indianapolis and was a seamstress for a wedding shop in Indianapolis for ten years before retiring in 1998. She had also worked for Grandma’s Real Home Cooking in Country Squire Lakes for two years. Myrna enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include her son, Robert Wood of North Vernon; daughters, Barbara Saunders of San Antonio, Texas, and Dorothy Timmermon of Fishers; brother, Sonny; sisters, Whinnie, Marcy and Shirley; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings, Linda, Kenny, Ivan and Gary. .
Private services will be held at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Myrna through the funeral home to Donor’s Choice.
