Nancy Ann (Hulse) Edwards

Nancy Ann Edwards, 74, of Scipio, passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born January 27, 1951, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Davis) Hulse. She was a 1969 graduate of Jennings County High School.

Nancy worked in the Office for Cummins Engine Company for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed playing softball and fishing.

She is survived by her sons, Zachary Edwards of Minnesota and Steve Ketchum of Kentucky; daughter, Jymme (Larry) Giles of Columbus; brothers, David Hulse and Alan Hulse, both of Scipio; sister, Linda Treadway of Scipio; grandchildren, Stephen Ketchum of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Stephanie Ketchum of Indianapolis, and Violet Giles of Nashville, Tennessee; nephews, Layton Hulse, Trayton Hulse, and Charles Hulse, all of North Vernon; nieces, Chloe Hulse, Mary Hulse and Rosalyn Hulse, all of North Vernon; and great-niece and nephew, Layla and Ryker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Ketchum; brothers, Herman Ray, John and Charles Hulse; and grandchild, Connor Ketchum.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials in honor of Nancy may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
