Nancy Darlene (Purcell) Huntington

Nancy Darlene Huntington, 76, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:18 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

Nancy was born November 10, 1949, in Milan, the daughter of the late John and Betty (Livingston) Purcell.Nancy was a 1969 graduate of Milan High School in Milan.

Nancy was a homemaker and housewife, who enjoyed cross stitch, plastic canvas, painting, woodworking, and diamond art. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her son, Derrick Huntington of North Vernon; her daughter, Angela (Ben Rosenbalm) McBride of North Vernon; brother, Mike (Carol) Purcell of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Andrea (Bill) Kinman and Tracy Holman, both of Milan; and grandchildren, Kassandera (Maddie Brunner) Huntington of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, David Jayne of Columbus, Alexia McBride-Hook and Allison McBride of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Nancy will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials in honor of Nancy may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
