Nathaniel "Nate" Deaton

Nathaniel “Nate” Deaton, 42 of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 1:44 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, Indiana.

Born September 7, 1979, in Columbus, Indiana, Nathan is the son of Randy and Vicki Deaton.

Nathan worked at various construction jobs around the North Vernon area. He enjoyed visiting with family members both in North Vernon and in Scottsburg.

Survivors include his parents, Vicki and George Haysler of North Vernon; sisters, Nicole Deaton, Yvonne Wood, Amanda Walker, all of North Vernon, and Cecilia King of Hayden; brother George (Angel) Haysler of North Vernon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Deaton and twin brother, Aaron Deaton.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana, with Bro. Ricky Persons officiating. Visitation will on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral. Burial, to be held at a later date, will be at the Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Memorials may be made in honor of Nathaniel through the funeral home to Donor’s Choice.
