Pamela Sue Kendall, 78, of Vernon, passed away at 4:48 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at her residence.
Born August 14, 1947, in Linton, she was the daughter of the late Lowell Leroy and Barbara Jean (Robinson) Yeryar. She married William Thurl Kendall on September 1, 1967, in Anderson; he survives.
Pamela was a 1965 graduate of Lapel High School in Lapel and worked as the Home Coordinator for Madison County Head Start for 20 years before retiring in 2009. She was a member of the Memorial Chapel Church of God in Custer, Kentucky and Christ Way Christian Church in North Vernon. Pamela enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her family and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, William Kendall of Vernon; her daughter, Melissa (Mike) Biggs of Custer, Kentucky; brother, Lowel Wayne (Debee) Yeryar of Lapel; grandchildren, Will Biggs of Custer, and Alexandra (Thomas Perkins Jr.) Perkins of North Vernon; and great-grandchildren, Zoey Perkins, Aubrey Perkins, and Gabriel Perkins, all of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with Pamela’s and her family’s wishes cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Memorials may be made in honor of Pamela through the funeral home to Christ Way Christian Church in North Vernon.
