Patricia Lynn "Patty" (Collins) Flannery

Patricia Lynn “Patty” Flannery, 53, of Greensburg, passed away at 3:28 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at her residence.

Born May 3, 1967, in Sneedville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Susie Jane (Collins) Hazelgrove and the late Robert Eugene Scudder. She married Bruce Flannery on October 25, 1984, in Jonesville, Virginia; he preceded her in death on April 10, 2014.

Patty worked as a daycare provider and a home health aid for ResCare in North Vernon. She was a member of Eagle Riders 927 in Greensburg and a member and taught Sunday School for 8 years at Macedonia Baptist Church in London, Kentucky. Patty enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, motorcycle riding, candy, reading the Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Chester (Annie Cunningham) Flannery and Bruce Flannery both of Greensburg; daughters, Jessica Collins-Franks of Greensburg, Malinda Halcomb of North Vernon and Tanya (Billy) Gabbard of London, Kentucky; mother, Susie Jane Hazelgrove of Greensburg; companion, Michael T. Gibson of Greensburg; brothers, Tommy (Angela) Collins of Westport, Bobby Scudder and Rick Scudder both of Greensburg; sisters, Kathy Dean-Collins, Gena Keihn and Lisa Lawrence, all of Greensburg; grandchildren, Nova, Brandon, Bryce, Hunter, Shalyn, Alila, Jaylen, Daython, Addison, Timothy, and Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband; son, Brandon Bruce Flannery; stepfather, Wilbur Hazelgrove; and brother, Timothy Collins.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and Friend may call at the funeral home on Monday, October 19, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be the Milford Cemetery in Greensburg.
