Pattsie Anne Waltz, 91, of Westport, passed away at 9:41 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Majestic Care of North Vernon.
Born April 14, 1934, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Boyd Manley and Dora (Stitt) Spiker. She married Raymond Waltz, on July 18, 1954, in Johnson County; he preceded her in death on March 8, 2010.
Pattsie was a graduate of Edinburgh High School class of 1952. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in North Vernon. Pattsie waitressed at Jerry’s Restaurant in Columbus and retired from Broad Acres in North Vernon. She loved to sing, and her hobbies included doing word search puzzles and creating plastic canvas crafts.
Pattsie is survived by her daughters, Vivian Moore of Westport and Deborah (Ralph) Pendleton of Columbus; grandchildren, Daniel Hull of Columbus, Joshua (Danni) Waltz of Indianapolis, William Waltz Jr. of Austin, Pattsie Waltz of Wisconsin, Johnathon Waltz of Columbus, Chrissa Waltz of Indianapolis, Tim Moore of North Vernon and Crissie Oaldon of Nashville, Indiana; great grandchildren, Dena (Toby) Anderson of Indianapolis, Lillian Hull of Columbus, Carissa (Jeremiah) Kern, Erik Waltz, Alexandra Waltz, and Cassidy Waltz all of Indianapolis, Caiden Moore and Bryson Moore both of Bloomington, Oree Waltz, Jacelee Waltz, Halina Waltz, and Callela Waltz all of Austin, Isaac McBride, Xavier Waltz and Isabella Waltz all of Indianapolis; and great-great-grandchildren, Nova Ward and Alex Buenrostro, both of Columbus, Emerson Kern and Flynn Schulthies, both of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Rickie Waltz and William Waltz Sr.; grandson, David Allen Moore; son-in-law, Neil Moore; sisters, Edythe Coy and Jackie Brecker; and great-grandchild, Evelina Vivianna Anderson.
A funeral service for Pattsie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Warren Lucas officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials in honor of Pattsie may be made through the funeral home to Bethel Baptist Church.
