Peggy Diane "Peg" Arthur

Peggy Diane “Peg” Arthur, 61, of Columbus, passed away at 3:53 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

Born February 28, 1964, in Paducah, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Sr. and Mary Louise Scott Arthur.  Peg was a 1982 graduate of South Dearborn High School and attended Ivy Tech in Madison.

Peg worked as a team leader for NTN Driveshaft from 2013 – 2023. She enjoyed fishing, camping, knitting, crocheting, and kayaking. Peg was also a homemaker who loved cooking.

Survivors include her son, Robert Brooks Jr. of Shelbyville; her daughter, Amanda Moore of Columbus; brother, James Arthur Jr. of North Vernon; sisters, Sue (Willis Gunter) Arthur and Carol Arthur, both of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Ava-Rae Moore and Jaxton Moore, both of Columbus, Dezyrae Brooks, Robert Brooks III and Elizabeth Brooks all of North Vernon and Rylynn Moore of Butlerville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Restoration Fellowship Church of God, 5305 E. Highway 50, Butlerville. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials in honor of Peg may be made through the funeral home to donor’s choice of organization.
