Polly Jo Ferguson

Polly Jo Ferguson, 57, of Seymour, passed away at 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Seymour Crossing in Seymour.

Born July 17, 1965, in Columbus, she was the daughter of David Ferguson and Joyce (Rayburn) McIntosh.

Polly was a 1983 graduate of Jennings County High School and received her associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She worked in home health care for several years and ran an ice cream bike. Polly attended Seymour Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, watching movies, and being around people.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Robbins of North Vernon; daughters, Chelsey (Shane) Metz of Scottsburg and Amber (Cade Horn) Ferguson of Seymour; mother, Joyce (Eugene) McIntosh of Paris Crossing; brothers, David (Glenna) Ferguson and Scott (Debbie) Ferguson, both of Texas, and Roger (Sheila) McIntosh of Deputy; sisters, Tammy (Randy) Lusk of Seymour and Tina Proffitt of Paris Crossing; and grandchildren, Rylen Barrett of Austin, Jocelynne Hill of Seymour, and Gabriel Metz and Noah Metz, both of Scottsburg.  

She was preceded in death by her father; granddaughter, Arabella Jade Ferguson; and brother, Todd McIntosh.

A celebration of life for Polly will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Steve McIntosh Farm, 4915 W. State Hwy 250, Paris Crossing, Indiana 47270, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Polly through the funeral home for expenses.
