Rebecca Laketa (Viles) Beach

Rebecca Laketa Beach, 75, of North Vernon, passed away at her residence on April 15, 2021, at 3:17 a.m.

Born March 3, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Norma Lee (Jackson) and Billy Dee Viles. She married Roy Beach Jr. in 1966; he preceded her in death on September 1, 1979. She later married Rex Stuck in 1981; he preceded her in death on December 2, 2010.

Rebecca attended high school in San Diego, California. She was a homemaker and owned Laketa Crafts in Oklahoma. She enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and doing crafts.

She is survived by her daughters, April Dawn Billie (Tyler) Bowser of Durango, Colorado and Rebekah (Luke) Johnson of Hinton, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary (Dana) Hillen of North Vernon and Helen (Glen) Mayo of Arroyo Grande, California; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; second husband; sons, Roy Beach, Russell Beach, and Christopher Alexander; daughters, Roxanna Allen, Robin Witherspoon, Sunday Stuck, and Rachel Stuck; and brother, Jimmie Dean Viles.

In keeping with her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.
