Richard Lee Daniels, 71, of Brownstown, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his residence in Brownstown.
Born February 26, 1950, in Washington County, he was the son of James L. and Nellie Mae (Caves) Daniels.
Richard retired from factory work and enjoyed horses, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Mark (Katharine) Daniels of Seymour; daughters, Chastity Daniels of Seymour, and Lacey Dawson of Brownstown; brothers, Roger Daniels and William Daniels, both of Seymour; sister, Rosie Scott of Franklin; grandchildren, Madison Carpenter, Jackson Carpenter, Olivia Daniels, Ralph Beasley Jr., William Beasley and Justin Beasley, all of Seymour, Johnathan Dawson Jr., Jakob Dawson, and Rey Dawson, all of Kentucky; and great-grandchildren, Kensley Carpenter and Kingston Carpenter, both of Seymour.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Misty Daniels; brother, Marvin Daniels; and sister Thelma Monroe.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Ralph McVay officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
