Richard "Michael" Jackson

Richard “Michael” Jackson, 54, of North Vernon, passed away on February 20, 2024, at his residence.

Born February 2, 1970, in Columbus, he was the son of the late Rolland Jackson and Linda Graham.

Michael was a 1988 graduate of Jennings County High School and had worked for Erlers and Industrial Powder Company. He was a hobbyist and enjoyed racing, fishing, and partying.

He is survived by his son, Jonathan (Selena) Jackson of Parma, Missouri; brother, Charles (Wendy) Jackson of North Vernon; sisters, Heather Cheesebrew and Lavania Jackson, both of North Vernon, and Sarah (Roger) Rogenkamp of Minnesota; stepmother, Vickie Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mikayla Jackson; and brother, William “Billy” Jackson.

In keeping with his and his family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Michael through the funeral home for expenses.
