Robert Clyde Keller, 90, of Commiskey, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his residence.
Born December 31, 1934, in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Mae (Curran) Keller. He married Patricia Ruth “Patsy” Fewell on May 25, 1957, at the Methodist Church in North Vernon; she preceded him in death on February 6, 2014.
Robert was a 1953 graduate of Paris Crossing High School and served in the US Army. He worked on the engine block line for Cummins Engine Company for 32 years before retiring in 1993. He was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church and treasurer for the Graham Presbyterian Cemetery. Robert enjoyed farming, animals, and helping other in need.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary (Ron) Kost of New Albany, and Sabrina (Jon) Spencer of North Vernon; grandchildren, Serena Keller of Bloomington, Samatha (Calvin) Elmore of Commiskey and Jodie (Shawn) Kiewitt of Seymour; and great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Campbell, and Alexis Campbell, both of Ohio, Hayden Willhite of Seymour, Rylee Elmore and Liam Elmore, both of Commiskey, Skylar Sizemore of Seymour and Braxton Kiewitt of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; son, Virgil Clinton Keller; brother, William Keller; and sister, Mary Ann Keller.
A funeral service for Robert will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Graham Presbyterian Church in Commiskey with the Rev. Dan Corbin and Bob Ochs officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Church.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Robert to the Graham Presbyterian Church or Graham Presbyterian Cemetery Fund.
