Robert "Bob" Wayne Vanosdol Sr.

Robert “Bob” Wayne Vanosdol Sr., 92, of Butlerville, passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his residence.

Born February 19, 1928, in Butlerville, he was the son of the late Ira and Ellen (Suhre) Vanosdol. He married Martha (Davidson) Vanosdol on June 28, 1953, in Vernon; she survives.

Bob was a lifelong dairy farmer on his family farm and enjoyed gardening, playing Euchre, watching wrestling, and driving around the countryside. He especially loved all of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Wilber John (Caroline) Vanosdol, Roger Alan (Lora) Vanosdol, and Robert Wayne (Patty) Vanosdol Jr., all of North Vernon, and Tommy Joe (Robin) Vanosdol of Butlerville; grandchildren, Missy, Rachel, Sheldon, Cody, Tiffany, Whitney, and Devin; and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his family’s wishes, cremation is planned, with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
