Roger Kyle Luenebrink, 60 of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. Roger was a father, son, brother, cousin, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Roger was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Indiana and North Carolina, a farmer, truck driver and owner/operator of a independent truck company. He was a religious man in his lifetime. On his farm he raised horses, cows, pigs and chickens.
Roger was the son of Robert A. and Mary (Sweany) Luenebrink of Seymour. He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1982.
Roger is survived by his spouse and caregiver, Debra Luenebrink of North Vernon; his children, Jon (Kelley) Luenebrink of Missouri; Anthony Luenebrink of North Vernon, Natasha (Kaitlyn) Campbell of Dupont, Beth (Shannon) Patton of North Vernon; father, Robert Luenebrink of Seymour; twelve grandchildren; and eight-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Connie (David) Wheeler of Salem; Curtis (Sharon) Luenebrink of North Vernon and Robert D. Luenebrink of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Luenebrink and his son, Barry Williams.
The funeral service for Roger will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with military honors by members of Matt Hester Post #2021, V.F.W. The visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will be in the Reddington Cemetery in Reddington.
Memorials in honor of Roger may be made through the funeral home to Norton King’s Daughters’ Cancer Center.
