Obituary
Roger Ray Owen, 52, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:57 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at his residence.
Born September 28, 1970, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Gordon and Esther Ruth (Lammont) Owen.
Roger worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and attended Coffee Creek Christian Church with his parents when he was a child. He enjoyed driving.
Roger is survived by his caregivers, Bill Elmore and Shannon Hatton, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Beverly Joan Owen and Teresa Owen.
Cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Education Training Center (ETC), 1200 West O&M Ave, North Vernon in Room 108. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Memorials in honor of Roger may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
