Ronald Lester Hacker, 60, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:28 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at his residence.
Born October 4, 1959, in Kentucky, he was the son of Anderson and Ruby (Abner) Hacker. He married Alice Marie (Johnson) Hacker on June 23, 1979, at the Grayford Road Church of God in North Vernon; she preceded him in death on July 19, 2011.
Ronald worked for Hilex Poly in North Vernon and enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his garage.
Survivors include his son, Ronald (Jared Hirtzel) Hacker of Seymour; daughters, Nicki (Garrett Lindsey) Marion and Tara Hacker both of North Vernon; brothers, Steve (Wanda) Hacker and Tony Hacker both of North Vernon; sisters, Tammy Huy and Susie Anderson both of North Vernon; grandchildren, Zoe Marion, Ryder Townsend, Lillyn Grace Marion, Caden Williams, Cameron Hacker, and Isreal Littrell, all of North Vernon and great-grandchild, Oliver Burns of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brother, Johnny Hacker and sister, Christine Padgett.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
