Ronald Joseph Machesky, 65, of Westport, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood.
Born August 7, 1955, in Seymour, Ronald was the son of the late Joseph Felix Machesky and Marguerite Marjorie Foster. He attended Texas A & M University and was employed by the USDA in Louisville as a grain and meat inspector where he travelled throughout the United States performing inspections. Ronald enjoyed watching racing, especially the Indy 500, skiing, hiking, farming, camping, and being outdoors.
Survivors include his mother, Marguerite Marjorie Foster of Mooresville; sons Ronald Joseph (Kristen Sease) Machesky II of Crothersville, Bryon Dale ( Patricia) Robinson of Scipio, and Mark Goddard of Jasper; daughters Amanda Miller and Adale (Cody) Durham both of Seymour; grandchildren Bailey Caldwell, Kain Goddard, Trent Goddard, Zakk Goddard, all of Jasper, Mackenzie Cockerham, Bryce Cockerham, Sadie Miller, William Miller, Marley Robinson all of Seymour, and Sarri Robinson of Scipio.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, uncles Veryl Delbert Foster, Carl Foster Jr., and Forrest Dale Foster; grandparents Margaret and Carl Foster Sr.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Scipio Cemetery. In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time and masks are required. We thank our families for their continued cooperation during these difficult times as we strive to help keep our community safe.
