Royce Charles Anderson

Royce Charles Anderson, 29, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana.

Born November 9, 1994, at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Roy and Sonia (Eubanks) Anderson.

Royce worked as a pharmacy tech at the North Vernon Jay C Store. He was a former member of Wyoming Ave Church of Christ in Detroit, Michigan and a 2013 graduate of Farmington High School where he was in the Marching Band. He enjoyed playing video games.

He is survived by his parents, Roy and Sonia Anderson of North Vernon, Indiana; sister, Soneka (Nicholas) Townes of Silver Spring, Maryland; grandparents, Sadie Eubanks of Dayton, Ohio, Claudette Cadamey of St. Louis, Missouri and Dorothy Cornell of Nashville, Tennessee; special aunt, Krystal Lawrence of Detroit, Michigan, aunts and uncles, Lenette Cadamey, Brendette Cadamey, Stephen (Carmen) Cadamey, Roosevelt (Ella) Cadamey, Vicki (Jesse) Davidson, LaDonna (Tyree) Goodrich, Delores Cadamey, and Sheila Rice, all of St. Louis, Missouri, Ashley (Nick) D’Allura, of Henryville, Indiana, Phillip (Sheree) Eubanks Jr. of Berlin, Germany, JoAnn Ellis of Miami, Florida, DeVoe (Renee) Cornell  and Darwin (Gilda) Cornell, both of Nashville, Tennessee, and Reggie Hendricks of Houston, Texas; best friend, Cooper Abel of Detroit, Michigan, and a host of cousins, special family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip Eubanks Sr. and Roy Cornell.

The memorial service for Royce will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Brother Roderick Drane officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in honor of Royce through the funeral home to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
