Ruth Irene Redicker

Ruth Irene Redicker, 83, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at her residence.

Born April 13, 1941, in North Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Arvel Olen and Freda Edith (Suhre) Redicker.

Ruth was a homemaker and loved babysitting and she loved being outside gardening, watching birds and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. 

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Thelma Lacey and brothers, Edward “Fat”, Francis “Jim”, Clarence “Shorty”, Freddie, and Albert “Boots” Redicker.

A graveside service on will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Vernon Cemetery. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
