Ryan Joseph "Joe" Ross

Ryan Joseph “Joe” Ross, 28, of Brownstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, in Seymour.

Born April 23, 1992, in Seymour, he was the son of Larry Joe “Gus” Ross Jr, and Bethany (Hoevener) Ross.

Joe was a 2010 graduate of Jennings County High iHSchool and worked as a Tradesman for Commercial Trade Source in Indianapolis for two years and had worked for Biehle Electric for one and a half years. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and horses, playing softball and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, Larry Joe “Gus” (April) Ross and Bethany (Michael Miller) Ross, both of North Vernon; sons, JaKobi Ross of Brownstown, Liam Ross of Seymour; daughters, KayLynn Ross, Breaha Ross, both of North Vernon, Hallye Ross of Brownstown,  Kiarra Matos and Emerson Matos, both of Batesville; companion, Tasha Ross of Brownstown; brother, Warren Scott (Taylor Holley) Ross of North Vernon; step-brother, Markie (Laura) Clark of Scipio; grandparents, Donald and Jackie Hoevener of Commiskey, Larry and Janet Ross of Hayden and Georgie Hoakes of North Vernon.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in the Hayden Cemetery with the Rev. Damon Marling officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for the National Down Syndrome Society.
