Sandra Crawford-Casey

Sandra Crawford-Casey, 64, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 4:45 a.m. at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville.

Born April 29. 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late John and Loretta (Bush) Crawford. She married Matthew Casey on September 18, 1990, in Hawaii; he survives.

Sandra was a 1980 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a waitress at Cracker Barrel in Seymour, bartender at the Eagles and Am Vet’s in North Vernon, and a caregiver for the elderly for several years. She was a former member of the Eagles Club in North Vernon. Sandra enjoyed cooking, sewing and plants.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew and her brother, Jimmy Crawford of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Crawford; and sisters, Barbara Pearson and Missy Eglin.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the funeral home and one hour to the service on Friday. The burial will follow in the Butlerville Cemetery in Butlerville.
