Sandra "Sandy" Sue Himelrick

Sandra Sue “Sandy” Himelrick, 48, of Columbus, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.

Sandy was born on November 12, 1973, in Columbus, the daughter of the late, Jerald Lynn and Patricia Joann (Eberts) Himelrick.

Sandy was a 1993 graduate of Jennings County High School and a volunteered for several places. She was a member of the Salvation Army and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Sandy enjoyed playing bingo, cross stitching, listening to the Oakridge Boys. Sandy loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her twin brother, Randy Himelrick of Greensburg; boyfriend, Bryan Streit of Columbus; uncles and aunts, E.C. (Wanda) Eberts of Scipio, David (Debbie) Eberts of North Vernon, Shirley Ross of Pennsylvania, and Sue Ellen (Harry) Robinson of Virginia; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Melissa Himelrick and brothers, Craig and Christopher Himelrick.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with E.C. Eberts officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in honor of Sandy through the funeral home to The Salvation Army.
