Santana Michelle Reed

Santana Michelle Reed, 22, of Holton, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born on November 21, 1999, in Madison, she was the daughter of Paul Reed and Dyan (Robinson) Reed.

Santana was a 2021 graduate of Liberty Christian Academy in Seymour. She worked for Comfort Keepers in Columbus and had previously worked for Wendy’s and the First Christian Church Daycare. Santana was a former member of Girl Scout Troop #6160. She enjoyed watching Netflix.

Santana is survived by her parents, Paul Reed of Madison and Dyan (Jake Cornett) Reed of Holton; grandfather, Michael “Boonie” (Evelyn Sebring) Robinson of Greenville, Ohio; brothers, Paul Kevin Reed of Madison, Jason (Veronica) Cornett of Butlerville, Austin (Kourtney) Cornett, Hunter Cornett, and Major Cornett, all of Holton; sisters, Tiffany (Benji) Cornett and Jaci Cornett, both of Holton, Tesla (James) Bond of Indianapolis, Kayla Jones of Knoxville, Tennessee and Diana Reed of Madison; aunts, Dawn (Kevin) Koors of North Vernon and Paula Marksberry and Amy (Robbie) Johnson, both of Madison; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lois Robinson; grandparents, Ronnie and Doris Reed; and aunt, Rhonda Konkle.

A funeral service for Santana will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in honor of Santana through the funeral home for expenses or to the Rolling Hills Shrine Club.
