Sarah Watts

Sarah Watts, 71, of North Vernon, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Majestic Care of North Vernon.

Born February 17, 1949, in Premium, Letcher County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Willard and Bertha (Nease) Watts.

Sarah worked as a cook for the former Cardinal Grill in North Vernon and for Rose Acres Farms. She enjoyed working puzzles.

Sarah is survived by her sisters, Beulah (Lawrence) Montgomery of North Vernon, Mary (Larry) Jones of Hyden, Kentucky, Barbara Watts of Indianapolis, Judy (Ray) Frodge of Taylorsville; brothers, Manuel (Janetta) Watts of Westport, Larry Watts of North Vernon, Freddie Watts of Premium, Kentucky and Tony (Betty) Watts of Blackey, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Helen Mayfield, Linda, and Brenda Watts.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. There will be a private graveside service in Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Sarah to the Shriners.
