Stephanie Lynn (Glegorovich) Harrison

Stephanie Lynn Harrison, 62, of Deputy, passed away at 6:03 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Autumn Trace in North Vernon.

Born February 12, 1962, in Gary, she was the daughter of Joan (Dixon) Roberts and the late Pete Glegorovich. She married Tony Harrison on November 13, 2004, at the Solid Rock Community Church in Scottsburg; he survives.

Stephanie was a 1980 graduate of Hobart High School in Hobart and a 1984 graduate of Indiana University Northwest with a bachelor’s in science and business. She worked as a U.S. Census Bureau statistician for 20 years before she retired in 2022. She had previously worked as a manager in processing medical claims for Unysis in Columbus for ten years and at Fidelity Bank in North Vernon. She was a member of Solid Rock Community Church in Scottsburg. Stephanie enjoyed baking, shopping, and giving to those in need.

She is survived by her mother, Joan (Raymond) Roberts of North Vernon; sisters, Cindy (Rich) Ison and Electra Glegorovich, both of North Vernon; brother-in-law, Roger (Jean) Harrison of Westport; nephews, Richard (Chelsea) Ison of New Washington and Clint (Jane) Harrison and Bradley (Felisha) Harrison, both of Greensburg; nieces, Carrie Joan (Isaac) White of North Vernon, Kelli Harrison of Westport, and Katie (Stew) Meyer of Greensburg; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father; uncle, Tom Glegorovich; grandparents; and mother and father in-law.

A graveside service for Stephanie will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the Graham Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Jennings County with Rev. Mike Shuler and Rev. Drew Bledsoe officiating. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made in honor of Stephanie through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana Inpatient Facility or Solid Rock Community Church.
