Tara Jines Obituary

Tara Sue Jines, 48, of Butlerville, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at her residence.

Born October 2, 1973, in Madison, she was the daughter of Larry McCrory and Kathy (Renfro) Woods. She married Jason Jines on June 29, 1996, on a farm in Butlerville.

Tara graduated from high school and from Hair Force Academy. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church since 1995 and was a visitor River Valley Community Church in Madison.

Tara strived to be a light for Jesus and help bring others to know him. She loved to be productive and fast was the only pace she knew. However, she learned to cherish slow mornings and loved sipping coffee while taking in mother nature with her husband. Her grandbabies adored her and loved snuggle time with Mamaw. Tara loved dancing in the kitchen and karaoke, every weekend was a “party”. She loved convertible cruises with her best friend, Kim. Tara took business skills and dreams she learned in Mary Kay to build Glamorous Salon and Spa with her two daughters, to serve others and be able to minister to her clients brought her so much joy. She more recently purchased McCowan’s Fruit Market with her husband, yet just another God given dream to serve people in a different way while allowing her to work alongside her family. She created a life that her family will continue to prosper from. She is now dancing in her gold shoes with her Savior. Her laughter was infectious and will be forever cherished.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Jines of Butlerville; father, Larry McCrory of Holton; mother, Kathy Woods of Butlerville; daughters, Janet (Popeye) Arms of Commiskey and Ashley (Charlie) Wells of North Vernon; brothers, Matthew, David, and Travis; grandchildren, Briar, Ruby Sue, Kendall, EmmaLynn, and Oliver; best friend, Kim; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Betty, Joann, Esther Juanita Ruth Renfro, Lethia Cartwright, and her aunt, Krista.
