Thomas A. Smallwood

Thomas A. Smallwood, 23, of Seymour, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Monroe County, Indiana.

Born November 3, 2000, in Seymour, he was the son of Jason Smallwood and Jennifer (Taylor) Ash.

Thomas worked in Quality Control for Guardian Bike in Seymour and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Seymour. He enjoyed playing video games and working crossword puzzles.

Thomas is survived by his father, Jason (Kristy) Smallwood of Columbus; mother, Jennifer Ash of Holton; grandmother, Chris (Kevin) Hall of Seymour; brother, Douglas “Doug” Richardson of Seymour; and sisters, Kenzi (Dylan) Smock of Columbus and Madison Ash of Holton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Mildred Smallwood, John and Patricia Taylor and Glenda White.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life to be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Seymour Moose Lodge #418, 110 E. 6th Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Thomas to Seymour Moose Lodge #418 or for expenses.
