Timothy Joseph Turner

Timothy Joseph Turner, 50, of North Vernon passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at I.U. Health Methodist in Indianapolis.

Born January 29, 1968, in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, the son of Brenda Sue Patrick Turner and the late Joe B. Turner. He married Tena Ritchie on December 21, 1991, in Jennings County. She survives.

Mr. Turner was a 1986 graduate of Jennings County High School and a 1990 graduate of Vincennes University with a Bachelor’s in electronics. He worked as a Supervisor/Team Leader for NTN Driveshaft in Walesboro for 24 years. He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales, watching sports of any kind especially, basketball, football, wrestling. He loved family reunions and spending time with his family. 

Surviving with his wife, Tena Turner; are a son, Adam Joseph Turner of North Vernon; daughters, Tessa (Steven) Fletcher and Jackie (Stephen) Manning both of North Vernon and Destiny (Troy) Petro of Butlerville; sisters, Pam Deaton of Osgood and Diana (Rick) Marksberry of North Vernon; grandchildren, Tyler Petro of Butlerville, Skyler Fletcher and Ariah Manning both of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father, a son, Joseph Andrew Turner and an infant child.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
