Tina Marie White, 61, of Columbus, passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation in Columbus.
Born September 9, 1959, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Richard Wire Sr. and Marietta (Unsworth) Wire. She married Terry White on December 22, 2017; he survives.
Tina was a 1977 graduate of Columbus North High School and served in the U. S. Air Force from 1979 until 1981. She worked in medical records at Columbus Regional Hospital for 12 years and was a former member of Columbus First Church of the Nazarene. Tina enjoyed genealogy, crafts, knitting, sewing, playing electronic games, and cats.
Surviving with her husband, Terry is a son, Sean Walsh of Columbus; daughters, Megan (John Hill) Kirby of North Vernon; Charlotte (Corey) Auen of Irving, Texas; sister-in-love, Kathleen Sears of Columbus; and grandchildren, Lydia Hill of Vincennes, Andrew Kirby and James Kirby, both of Lizton, and Robert Hill of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Richard Wire Jr.
A funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Memorials may be made in honor of Tina through the funeral home to the American Diabetes Association.
