Tony Cecil Pearson

Tony Cecil Pearson, 39, of Commiskey, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his residence.

He was born November 22, 1983, in Scottsburg, he was the son of Curtis and Geneva (Finley) Pearson.

Tony worked as a dump truck driver for Marengo Trucking in Versailles for one year and had previously worked for H&L Tree Trimming in North Vernon for one year. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, and deer hunting.

Survivors include his son, Jonah Burton of Jennings County; daughters, Naomie Burton and Laighla Burton, both of Jennings County; parents, Curtis and Geneva Pearson of Commiskey; brother, Joshua (Lisa) Finley of New Mexico; and sister, Lucinda Pearson of Seymour.

A visitation for Tony will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, with closing prayer at 7:00 p.m. by Rev. Dan Corbin.

Memorials may be made in honor of Tony through the funeral home for help with expenses.
