Tracy Elizabeth (Williams) White

Tracy Elizabeth White, 63, of North Vernon, passed away on February 14, 2024, at her residence.

Born June 26, 1960, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Lawson and Winifred (Padgett) Wiliams.

Tracy was a 1979 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked in the bakery for Kroger in New Castle for 25 years before retiring in 2020. She had previously worked for the former Danner’s Department Store in North Vernon. Tracy enjoyed crafting, and baking and was a seamstress.

Survivors include her son, Ethan White of Clarksville; sister, Janie (Don) Hearne of North Vernon; nephews, Todd (Lisa) Hearne and Kirk (Kathy) Hearne, both of North Vernon, and Benjamin (Brittany) Williams of Colorado; great-nieces and nephews, Drew (Bridgett) Heilers of North Vernon, Molly (Zac) Swain of Osgood, Lawson Hearne of Indianapolis, Lucy (Ryan) Cowan of Columbus, and Ellie Hearne of Muncie; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel White; brother, Buck Williams; and niece, Kerry Heilers.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in honor of Tracy through the funeral home to the Jennings County Senior Center.
