Vickie Sue Rowe

Vickie Sue Rowe, 76, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at her residence.

Born March 24, 1948, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ray and Ethel M. (Hubler) Rowe.

Vickie was a member of the Feet Bits Walking Club and Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, walking, coloring, working word search puzzles, playing BINGO, watching cowboy movies. Vickie loved to joke, give out advice, and her cat.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, and all her friends affiliated with Archer Services.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond Rowe; a sister, Janice Wiseheart; and her cat, Miss Belle.

A funeral service for Vickie will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. The visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Kraft Graceland Memorial Cemetery, 2778 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
