Victoria "Tori" (Herche) Sanders Hook

Victoria “Tori” Sanders Hook, 31, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born September 25, 1992, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Jon Herche and Rella Couch Herche. She married Matthew Hook on October 14, 2023, at Wilson Chapel Church in Elizabethtown; he survives.

Tori was a 2011 graduate of Jennings County High School and received her CNA (Certified Nurses Aid) and worked for N.V.I.C. for ten years where she drove a forklift and worked the finish line. She enjoyed crocheting and designing on the Cricket and was a Bengals fan. She loved time with her children and watching them in sports.

Survivors include her husband Matthew; sons, Coby Arnholt and Skylar Herche, both of North Vernon; daughters, Avereigh Tyler and Rosabella Arnholt, both of North Vernon; father Jon (Della) Herche of Elizabethtown; mother, Rella Herche of North Vernon; brothers, Christopher (Samantha) Herche of Scottsburg, Levi (Sami) Ritchie and Alvalee (Racheal) Ritchie, both of Columbus; sisters, Brittany (Derek) Keener of North Vernon and Jessica Riveva of Greensburg; and grandparents, Dru  and Bill Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon and Jeanne Herche and Rellie Turner.

A funeral service for Tori will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Todd Rowland officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.

Memorials may be made in honor of Tori through the funeral home to the North Vernon Elementary School Sports Program.
