Vivian Koldyke Obituary

Vivian Jeanetta Koldyke, 86, of Seymour, passed away at 1:15 a.m. on May 30, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born September 1, 1932, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Fall) Vinson. She married Ronald Martin Koldyke; he preceded her in death on February 3, 2007.

Vivian graduated from North Vernon High School in 1950. She was a homemaker in addition to having worked for Arby’s in Kansas and as a cook and waitress at the White Front Café in North Vernon. She enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is survived by her sons, Louis “Jerry” Foga of Seymour and Daniel Foga Koldyke of Lanesville; daughter, Sharon K. (Curtis) Mullins of Tampa, Florida; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Bonnie Lynn Foga Koldyke; brothers, Craig, Herschel, and Bob Vinson; and sisters, Agnes Sheets and Mabel Ross.

Family and friends may call at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery in Kansas.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Wounded Warrior Project Fund.
