Wayne Glenn Goins Sr.

Wayne Glenn Goins Sr., 47, of Paris Crossing, passed away at 9:01 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born May 25, 1978, in California, he married Rachel Jansen on March 20, 2000, at the Grayford Road Church of God; she survives.

Wayne worked as a forklift driver in Sellersburg. He was a former member of the Butlerville Mennonite Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.

Surviving with his wife Rachel, are his sons, Zachary Wayne (Alicia) Goins of Colorado, Stephen Shane (Erin) Goins of Madison, Kenneth (Alyssa) Goins, Dakota Goins, Skyler (Ryder) Goins, and Wayne Goins Jr., all of North Vernon; his daughters, Savahanna Fields of Indianapolis, Lilly Goins of Madison, and Daisey (Hunter) Goins of North Vernon; brothers, David Goins of Florida and Kenneth Goins of Ohio; sister, Sherri Goins of Ohio; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Goins; and sister, Kimberly Goins.

A funeral service for Wayne will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
