Wesley David “Bonehead” Webb, 63, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:11 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born October 2, 1957, in Seymour, he was the son of William Watson Webb Sr. and Lulu Belle (Zornes) Webb. He married Patricia “Patty” “Peige” Koontz on September 2, 2000; she survives.
Bonehead was a 1976 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a setup man for Arvin Industries in Columbus for 37 and a half years. He was a member of the Hope Masonic Lodge in Hope and the NRA. Bonehead enjoyed Harley Davidsons, was a U.K. Fan, swimming, bicycle riding, tractors and was a history buff.
Surviving with his wife, Patricia, are sons, Wesley William Ryan (Tim Green) Webb of Columbus, Nathaniel David (Rebecca) Webb of Alert and James Lee (Trish Myer) Koontz of North Vernon; father, William Watson of North Vernon; sister, Vicki Webb of North Vernon; grandchildren, Lulu Belle Webb and Jonathan Wayne Webb, both of Alert, and Jeremy David Koontz of North Vernon; niece, Mandy (Missy Needler) Webb of North Vernon; great-nephew, William Nicholas Webb of North Vernon; aunt, Cindy Link of Muncie; and uncle, Scotty Zornes of Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, William Watson Webb Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Shriner’s Children Hospital or Riley Children’s Hospital.
