William Lee "Bill" Rabe

William Lee “Bill” Rabe, 54, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in North Vernon.

Born January 21, 1971, in Switzerland County, he was the son of the late William Lee Rabe Sr. and Rosemary Rabe.

Bill was a 1990 graduate of Switzerland High School and worked as a mechanic for Miller’s Tire and Don’s Tire both in North Vernon. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and working on his truck.

Survivors include his sons, Zarek (Stephanie) Rabe of North Vernon and Branden (Jillian) Rabe of Butlerville; his daughter, Tina Kaye Rabe of North Vernon; brothers, Marty Lehman of Rushville and David Lehman of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Ciara Dunham, Bryan Dunham, Mavryck Rabe, Kaysen Rabe, Georgia Rabe, and Dean Rabe, all of North Vernon and Klowey Hunnicut of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation for Bill will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.  

Memorials in honor of Bill may  be made through the funeral home for expenses.
