Zachariah Daniel “Z-Man” Seal, 43, of North Vernon, passed away on April 16, 2026, at his residence.
Born December 30, 1982, in Columbus, he was the son of Don Seal and Sarah (Hoffman) Helm.
Zachariah was a freelance drywaller and painter. He was baptized in the Baptist Faith in Scipio and attended the First Baptist Church in North Vernon. Zachariah enjoyed fishing, drawing, cooking, collecting rocks and listening to good music.
Survivors include his father, Don Seal of North Vernon; his mother, Sarah (Tony) Helm of North Vernon; sisters, Jammie (Jason Lark) Helm of Butlerville and Kyla (Sam) McCollum of Corydon; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; nieces and nephews, Skyler, Brody, Evelyn, Raelynn and Madelyne.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Helen Seal, Janetta (Mounts) Hoffman and Ralph Hoffman; and aunt, Veronica Branum.
A funeral service for Zachariah will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Tom Woodson officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials in honor of Zachariah may be made through the funeral home for funeral expenses.
