Eva Behrens Kibler

Eva Behrens Kibler, 93, of North Vernon died at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles. Mrs. Kibler was a retired seamstress from Regal Rugs in North Vernon, where she worked for 31 years. She was a member of Christ's Way Christian Church in North Vernon and an avid reader. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 17, at Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon with the Rev. Marvin Wright officiating. Visitation is from noon until time of the service. Burial will be at Butlerville Cemetery. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Christ's Way Christian Church or Hospice of South Central Indiana. Born March 6, 1913, in Ripley County, Indiana, Mrs. Kibler was the daughter of Fred and Verna Jefferies Behrens. She married Kirk Kibler. Mrs. Kibler is survived by a son, Leslie L. Brown of Indianapolis; a sister, Louise Reynolds of Trafalgar; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, on November 24, 1982; a brother, Robert Behrens; and two sisters, Doris Koelmel and Ethelyn Behrens.
